Between March 14 and April 8, 2022, Cialfo’s Founder and CEO, Rohan Pasari, and members of the Cialfo team met with 15 institutions during a listen and learn tour in six cities across the United States.
Conversations with heads of enrollment and admissions professionals at prominent public colleges and globally renowned private universities alike were extremely informative and highlighted each institution’s unique strengths while shedding light on the common concerns shared by their peers in today’s “never normal” recruitment context.
This paper summarizes some of the top themes that emerged from our discussions. While it is by no means a complete list, we hope that it inspires the international student recruitment community to think differently about the future of student mobility and the role recruitment professionals play, just as they have inspired us to think differently about how we can add more value to the higher education ecosystem in the U.S. and beyond.
